Anthony Green is back in Norwood for the 2022 NBL1 season!
After his rookie year in Spain he transitioned to Australia’s NBL1 to play with Norwood. Last year he got acclimated to the league's style of play and became one of the most dominant bigs in the league. He averaged 11.4 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game, which regularly found him in the National Top 10 Plays of the Week.
For those who might be unfamiliar with Anthony’s game, here are some highlights:
Norwood GM, Will Smith, spoke about his excitement for another season with a powerful two-way player. “He protects the hoop as good as anyone in NBL1 and puts a lot of pressure on the opposing team’s rim, as he attacks it with as much ferocity as we have seen in a long time.”
Anthony is excited for another run at the Grand Final, with plans of taking home the trophy this year!
